Brown Tulip Handbag

This bag is inspired by a 1940’s bag shape and is made from 100% herringbone weave wool tweed. It is decorated with applique using silk furnishing fabric in a design by myself that I call ‘Tulip’, with a bow and button to finish. the handle is decorated with the same ribbon. Inside the bag opening is a contrast fabric of Liberty of London cotton print ‘Corncrake’ from the 1990’s. There is a  magnetic clip fastening. The lining is a soft polyester satin in  a lovely peacock blue and it has patch pocket.
